Domain investor Mike Mann is known for his constant acquisitions of domain names, particularly single word and two word compound .com domains.One of the names recently in the news is that of 17 year old student, Trayvon Martin, who was shot and killed in Sanford, Florida by a self-proclaimed neighborhood watch vigilante, George Zimmerman.The incident, which took place in late February, along with the non-arrest of George Zimmerman has led to major unrest in the Orlando, Florida suburb, to the point that local businesses such as the popular German restaurant Willow Tree Cafe is cutting down employees’ hours after suffering a $10,000 loss during the month of March.Back to Mike Mann: he owns Trayvon.com since at least November of 2011, according to historical data from top WHOIS tool, DomainTools.The domain name Trayvon.com is on sale at GoDaddy TDNAM with an opening price of $1,000 but at Mike’s Domain Market outfit it’s listed for a hefty quarter of a million dollars.
