Dancing with the Stars Greece

Dancing with the Stars is a Greek reality show airing on ANT1 and filmed live in Athens. The show is based on the United Kingdom BBC Television series Strictly Come Dancing and is part of BBC Worldwide's Dancing with the Stars franchise. The theme song is "It's personal" performed by Swedish indie pop band The Radio Dept.


Dancing with the Stars (Greece) (Season 1)


The first season premiered on 28 March 2010 on ANT1 The stars with their partners were:

4) Dimitris Vlachos (Actor)-Maria Antimisari (In 2008 came third in International Latin Dancing) (7th place)
5) Errika Prezarakou (Champion in the pole vault, Creator of Replayce)-Thodoris Panagakos (Greek Champion in the category "International Latin Rising Star" 2008) (Winner)
6) Pigi Devetzi (Olympic champion in the triple jump Athens-Beijing)-Panagiotis Grammatikos (Champion Greece "Amateur Latin" 2007) (9th place)
7) Matthildi Magira (Show woman)-Richard Szilagyi (Champion Slovakia «Ten Dances" 2007 & Champion Greece category Latin American five dances 2010)(Runner-up)

Season 2 (2011)


Dancing with the Stars (Greece) (Season 2)


Dancing with the Stars was a Greek reality show airing on ANT1 and filmed live in Athens. The show was based on the United Kingdom BBC Television series Strictly Come Dancing and was part of BBC Worldwide's Dancing with the Stars franchise. The theme song was "It's personal" performed by Swedish indie pop band The Radio Dept. The second season of the show started on 20 March 2011. Season's 1 winner Errika Prezarakou joined the judging panel, replacing Galena Velikova. ANT1 launched a daily spin off titled "Dancing with the Stars Daily" on March 21, hosted by former contestant Eugenia Manolidou. The show was canceled on April due to low ratings.
