Sara Evans Granted Another Restraining Order Against Ex-Husband

Country star Sara Evans has obtained a restraining order against her ex-husband -- claiming he irreparably harmed their children by badmouthing her on Anderson Cooper's new TV show.

Craig Schelske appeared on "Anderson" back on September 20 -- claiming he lost custody of his kids because Sara falsely accused him of being a porn-obsessed adulterer.

Sara claims the interview not only violated a temporary injunction she obtained against Craig back in 2010 -- blocking him from bashing Sara in public -- it also "caused and will continue to cause irreparable harm to the children."

On September 21 -- a day after the interview aired -- Sara filed a request for a restraining order to block Craig from making further statements about their divorce proceedings. A judge signed the order the same day.

A source close to Craig tells us, "This is a violation of his First Amendment rights, and he won't take it lying down."

In February of 2010, Sara obtained a restraining order against Schelske banning her former husband of 13 years and the father of her three kids from speaking out about their bitter split.

Evans and Schelske married in September of 1993 and divorced in September 2007, signing a confidentiality agreement to prevent either party from talking about their marriage and subsequent custody battle.

However, Schelske appeared on Anderson Cooper's daytime talk show last month and gave his side of the divorce story, claiming he lost custody of their three kids -- Avery, 12, Olivia, 7, and Audrey, 6 -- because Evans alleged he was cheating, among other accusations he vehemently denies. Schelske has also accused his ex of cheating on him and fabricating many of the allegations she brought to the legal table.

A day after the interview (Sept. 21), Evans returned to court to file for a new order to stop her ex-husband from making any further statements about their divorce. A judge agreed and signed the order the same day. A source allegedly close to Schelske told TMZ, "This is a violation of his First Amendment rights, and he won't take it lying down."

Evans re-married radio personality and former football star Jay Barker in the summer of 2008. They live in Birmingham, Ala. with their combined brood of seven children.
