IPhone Update Showcases iOS 5 Features

Apple users report problems when updating to the latest iPhone operating system iOS 5 released yesterday, such as slow downloads and error messages.
Many iPhone users have been faced with exceedingly long download times for the update of iOS 5. Some have said that it took them a few attempts before the update is complete. Many ended up with an error message.

Some people have complained that the update has caused data loss. Some have claimed that the update has bricked their iPhones.

One of the biggest additions is actually a subtraction. The new iOS 5 has included wireless synching to be used to update the device. No longer will a cable be needed to perform updates.

Text messaging between users of the new operating system just got a boost with the new iMessage capabilities which allow users of iOS 5 devices to message each other for no cost.

Many of the new features will be ones that business IT professionals will enjoy as it gives them the power to control what files are sent and also over the email features. Also updated are new APIs for the version.

Pop up notification that prevented users from doing anything before dismissing the messages will now be a thing of the past with the new Notifications screen which compiles all the messages in one place.
