Suicide Attack Injures 75 ISAF Soldiers And 25 Afghan

Taliban suicide bomber rammed a truck bomb into a military base in eastern Afghanistan on the eve of the 10th anniversary of the 9/11 attack on Saturday killing two Afghans and wounding 80 American troops.


Among the fatalites was a 3-year-old Afghan girl, who died from her wounds while being brought to the hospital.


An improvised explosive device hidden in a truck loaded with firewood was used in the attack on the combat outpost in Wardak province, according to NATO.


Forces press office in Kabul confirmed that 102 people were injured in yesterday’s suicide attack in Maidan-Wardak province. BIA quoting from a joint publication of ISAF in Kabul said, this event occurred in Sayedabad district, Maidan-Wardak province yesterday afternoon. A suicide attacker exploded himself with a bus full of explosive materials near a base of NATO. According to the publication, two Afghans were killed, 75 soldiers and workmen of ISAF and 25 Afghans were wounded in this explosion.
