POLICE have charged a man who took a 13-year-old Victorian girl on a four-day interstate road trip after allegedly meeting her on the internet.
Officers located Larni Edwards, from Ultima near Swan Hill, at a home in Mount Gambier about 11am yesterday. The man she ran away with, Dean Patrick James, 36, was at the same home.
Larni had been found with Dean Patrick James in Mount Gambier about 11am (AEST) on Saturday.
James has been arrested and charges were expected to be laid, she said.
Larni was last seen when she left her home at Ultima, near Swan Hill, on April 17.
