Samsung Galaxy (stylized as Samsung GALAXY or SAMSUNG Galaxy) is a
series of mobile computing devices designed, manufactured and marketed by Samsung Electronics. The product line includes the Galaxy S series of high-end smartphones, the Galaxy Tab series of tablets, the Galaxy Note series of tablets and phablets with the added functionality of a stylus and the first version of the Galaxy Gear smartwatch, with later versions dropping the Galaxy branding.
Samsung Galaxy devices have traditionally used the Android operating system produced by the Open Handset Alliance led by Google, usually with a custom user interface called TouchWiz. This tradition was broken at CES 2016 with the announcement of the first Galaxy-branded Windows 10 device, the Samsung Galaxy TabPro S.
Samsung Galaxy S series refers to the high-end/flagship Android smartphones in the Samsung GALAXY series and includes Super Smart devices of the GALAXY series, manufactured by Samsung Electronics.
The Samsung Galaxy S series has sold more than 177 million units, with Samsung Galaxy S selling over 25 million units, Samsung Galaxy S II selling over 40 million units, Samsung Galaxy S III selling over 60 million units, Samsung Galaxy S4 selling over 40 million units and finally over 12 million units of the Samsung Galaxy S5 were sold during its first three months of availability.
Samsung Galaxy Note is a series of Android-based high-end smartphones and high-end tablets developed and marketed by Samsung Electronics. The line is primarily oriented towards pen computing; all Galaxy Note models ship with a stylus pen and incorporate a pressure-sensitive Wacom digitizer. All Galaxy Note models also include software features that are oriented towards the stylus and the devices' large screens, such as note-taking and digital scrapbooking apps, and split-screen multitasking.
The Galaxy Note smartphones have been considered the first commercially successful examples of "phablets"—a class of smartphone with large screens that are intended to straddle the functionality of a traditional tablet with that of a phone. Samsung sold over 50 million Galaxy Note devices between September 2011 and October 2013. 10 million units of the Galaxy Note 3 have been sold within its first 2 months, 30 million were of the Note II, while the original Galaxy Note sold around 10 million units worldwide.
Samsung Gear is a line of wearable computing devices produced by Samsung Electronics. The line was first introduced with an Android smartwatch in September 2013 as a spin-off of its Galaxy smartphone and tablet range.and expanded at Mobile World Congress 2014 with a successor, the Tizen-based Gear 2, and the Gear Fit activity tracker.

In July 2013, Samsung released the Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom, a phone-camera hybrid with a 10x optical zoom (24–240 mm 35 mm equivalent) with f/3.1-6.3 lens with built-in optical image stabilizer and a standard xenon flash.
The phone uses a Samsung Exynos 4212 SoC featuring a 1.5 GHz dualcore CPU. It uses 1/2.33-inch 16 MP BSI-CMOS sensor and has both auto and manual camera control, and takes video in 1080p 30 fps (full HD) or 720p 60 fps. The device can be categorized as a low/mid end point-and-shoot camera or a bridge camera.
In one of the Scene modes, you can also set the exposure time, the ISO Light Sensivity (up to ISO 3200), the aperture and the white balance manually.
It is also capable of recording Slow Motion Videos at the same resolution, as the Note 2 does at 120 fps, 720×480 Pixels at 120 Frames per Second. You can also use the Optical Zoom, while you record, but you can't actually record audio. While recording video, at any available resolution, at any framerate, the optical zoom is slown down, because otherways you could hear the Zoom Lens Engine. This also applies to the K Zoom.
While recording Video, you can also take still images with around 3.2 Megapixels, but only up to 6 pictures during the whole recording, no matter the length or the size of the video, even if this video is paused.
The reason, why Samsung made this limitage, is unknown, because Samsung never mentioned it.
The Samsung Galaxy NX is a hybrid mirrorless interchangeable lens camera manufactured by Samsung which was announced in June 2013. The Galaxy NX is an Android (4.2.2, upgradeable to Android Jelly Bean MR1) based mobile device which is the first of its kind. It is a 20.3 megapixel using the Samsung NX-mount as well as Wi-Fi and 3G connectivity, and a GPS receiver by which the camera can make geotagged photographs.
While the device is runs on Android it is not a smartphone in the sense that it doesn't have a telephone function. Instead its wireless connectivity can be used for telecommunication (including video) over the Internet.
Included software allows for in-camera organizing, editing and online sharing or storage of images and videos.As with other Android devices, other software can be downloaded from Google Play.
The device has a "familiar DSLR look", with no camera in the back. It has a larger LCD touchscreen than is customary for that category but fewer buttons/dials for controlling it. The screen or voice control is used more.
The device has one processor for Android and another, DRIMe IV, for photographic processing.
