PARIS,-- Evan Rachel Wood's publicist has confirmed the Hollywood actress lost a tooth when someone accidentally elbowed her in the mouth on a Paris dance floor.
UsMagazine.com said the incident happened Tuesday night at a French nightclub, but Wood has already been to a dentist and had the tooth replaced.
The report did not say which tooth the actress lost or how the person who knocked it out reacted.
Wood, who turned 24 on Wednesday, was in Europe doing promotion for her upcoming film with George Clooney and Ryan Gosling called "The Ides of March." The political drama is slated for release on October 7, 2011.
The actress recently opened up about her love of pop sensation Justin Bieber.
In July, the actress released a video of herself covering Justin Bieber's "U Smile" at a karaoke bar in China and Wood also revealed her fandom to "The Ides of March" director Clooney on the film's set.
"[Clooney] was around for when I first saw Never Say Never and I got super into it," Wood told New York Magazine. "I was a changed person. And I was dancing and singing, and then I noticed that the set was really quiet, and then I looked, and the camera was rolling and George is standing there. And he just said, 'Enjoy the DVD!' and he walked away. So that was terrifying."
Wood recently portrayed the vampire queen Queen Sophie-Anne on HBO's popular series "True Blood." The actress has also starred in films like "The Wrestler," and "Thirteen."
In April, Wood came out as bisexual and told Esquire magazine that she is dating a woman. The actress and rock star Marilyn Manson called off their engagement in November 2010.
Manson, 42, and Wood dated between 2006 and 2008. The couple reconciled around late 2009 and in January 2010, he proposed to her during a stage performance in Paris.
